PESCHKE develops trend-setting products for international clients – from startups to corporations. Our focus is on product design », 3D & motion design », UX/UI », software development » and marketing and communication design ». For this purpose, we develop strong 3D animations and product renders that stir emotions and tell stories.
We are looking for a talented and motivated 3D Maya/V-Ray artist (f/m/d) to support our 3D team from 01/2024 for projects in the areas of shading, lighting, non-character rigging, animation and conception. The exact start date is up to you – we will wait for the right candidate!
If you can identify with the following and are interested in all kinds of new topics, even when things get technical, you have come to the right place!
from 01/2024
Vienna, Austria
40h or 32h
No all-in contracts ♥
from €35,000 p.a. on a 40h basis
The most important thing, however, is that you fit in well with our team and enjoy working on great projects with us ♥
Up before the sun or most productive in the evening? Not to worry – our flexible working times and home office days have got you covered. (Don’t worry, we don’t offer all-in contracts ♥)
Classic 9 to 5 or modern part-time lifestyle? You get to decide! Everyone has different wants and needs that we can cover with individual working time models.
Not only the design industry is growing – we want our employees to grow too. We therefore place great value on supporting everyone in our team with opportunities to hone their skills and to learn new ones.
We are a wild mix of great characters, always talk at eye level and work exceptionally well as a team. We look forward to welcoming our newest team member!
Benefits such as free coffee, tea and fruits are a given. On top of that, you will receive an allowance for lunch, which you can also redeem at well-known delivery services if you like. And to make sure you get to the office without being stuck in traffic, we will pay for your annual ticket for the Vienna public transport system after your first year of employment.
You start your work day between 08:00 and 10:00. The images that were rendered overnight on our render farm need to be prepared for compositing. After you have graded everything in Nuke, you move on to motion graphics in After Effects. Based on the animatic, you coordinate everything with our graphics team and discuss the next steps with our project manager. While the graphics are being finalised, you start a storyboard for a new project.
You receive all necessary information beforehand in a kick-off meeting with the entire team. The rest of the day you work on a render setup in Maya and V-Ray for the representation of a production line in the automotive industry. The focus is on a photorealistic look and an efficient render setup. Before you leave for the day, you check the progress of the jobs you have sent to the render farm.
Important to note: This does not describe an exact work day, but serves to illustrate the different areas of work!
Based on your qualifications and experience, we will agree on a suitable yearly salary starting at €35,000 gross (on a 40h basis). Alright, now you know everything. Are you convinced that you’re a great fit for our company? Perfect! Please send your application including CV, motivation letter and portfolio to:
jobs@peschke.at », subject “Application 3D Maya Artist”
Important: Without a portfolio, we cannot consider your application.
Third-country nationals are required to provide proof of an EU work permit. Furthermore, we can only accept applicants who already reside in Austria.
We are excited to receive your application!

Miller’s Law is one of the most essential laws of UX/UI design and states that the average person can only keep 7 (plus or minus 2) items in their working memory. 🧠
These ‘items’ or information units can range from small units such as individual numbers or words to connected thoughts and bigger units such as concepts. 💭
The memory span is always the same for different types of information, no matter whether you have to remember 7 digits or 7 words with multiple letters each. This is where the term “chunks” comes in: Chunks are “the largest meaningful or recognisable unit of information in a larger array of material”. A specific word might be easy to remember for a native speaker as it is only one chunk of information to them, while someone unfamiliar with the language might have to remember the word letter-by-letter, making it several chunks – take the Greek word σφυρίζω as an example.
This is why this concept is so important for good UX/UI: Organising content in smaller clusters makes it easier for users to process, understand and memorise it while preventing cognitive overlad. This is essential so that users can easily navigate and successfully work with a website or an app. 🏆
Alright, time for examples: What does Miller’s law look like in practice? Swipe through the slides to find out ➡️

Team building is important, but it doesn’t have to feel like a chore – it can be the complete opposite! This week, our team went bowling at @kugeltanz.prater and had an amazing time. 🥳 We got to discover the hidden bowling talents of some of our co-workers and enjoyed an evening full of fun and laughter 🎳🥰

Attracting excited customers and turning them into loyal brand advocates is a journey. Thankfully, not a srictly linear one.
With the new marketing funnel strategy – which also applies to capital goods –, customers can enter and leave the process at any stage while helping you achieve greater awareness, better products and lasting brand success. 💪💬

Usability heuristics are design rules for user interface design based on empirical and research-informed best practices. The main contributors were the principles and analyses of usability problems by Jakob Nielsen and Gerhardt-Powals in the 90s – which still hold true today (and were only slightly refined in 2020). PESCHKE is joining the Business Run in Vienna next Thursday! To prep for the scenic route of 4.3km, we’re going all out – and even found a trail in nearby Türkenschanzpark in the shape of our company logo. If that isn’t true passion, we don’t know what is!
Will we see any of you there on Thursday? 🏃♀️🏃♂️
