App design for measuring room monitoring: ZEISS TEMPAR go
PESCHKE developed the app design for ZEISS TEMPAR go – a mobile application that provides a cost-effective entry into ZEISS TEMPAR measuring room monitoring.
ZEISS TEMPAR » records and logs all precision-relevant values in the measuring room environment. This is essential because coordinate measuring machines only deliver highly accurate and precise results if temperature, temperature gradients and humidity are within the limits specified by the manufacturer.
ZEISS TEMPAR go is based on the same principle, but works with smaller ZEISS TEMPAR disc sensors that can be placed exactly where they are needed. Together with the app we designed, this ensures reliable and mobile measurement room monitoring with easy handling.
Thorough research and analysis of the target group’s requirements formed the basis for the app design to ensure their needs were fully addressed with our UX/UI design. This was achieved through our service design » process.
Building on these outcomes, our clearly structured wireframes defined the basic design of the interface as part of the UX/UI design » process. The strong concept guides users through the application in the most efficient manner. This step was then followed by the implementation of the visual interface design.
The final app design optimally supports the functional possibilities and fits smoothly into the design language of ZEISS TEMPAR. The advantages of the mobile application include a live display of the ambient temperature and humidity in the measuring room – regardless of where you are with your mobile device –, information on the ideal positioning of the sensors, and clearly displayed warnings if values fall outside the tolerance range.
