The many possibilities of design

Being featured in the Schaufenster magazine doesn’t just make us proud; it brings us joy that insights into the potential and possibilities of design in the industrial sector are being brought to the world. After all, design can do so much more than just fashion and lifestyle – it can improve people’s lives on a daily basis, for example by making professional tasks easier or by ensuring ergonomic working conditions. That’s worth a headline!

Part of the reason why industrial design is not a familiar concept to many is that it fits into processes so well that they can be intuitively understood and used by operators so that they don’t even notice it. They would only notice if something were not working as expected. The “not noticing” can therefore be seen as a success.

Industrial design can achieve a great deal and provide support for many tasks – from clearly signalling malfunctions from a distance to ergonomic operating.
