An animatic is a pre-production tool used in the animation and film industry to create a rough visual representation of a story or script. It is essentially a series of storyboard panels, edited together with sound effects, text, and music to create a rough approximation of what the final product will look like. The purpose of an animatic is to allow the 3D artists to visualise the pacing and timing of the story, identify any potential issues or inconsistencies. We always present animatics to our clients for feedback so we can make any necessary changes before investing time and resources into the production of the final product.
