ZEISS Hunting App

The ZEISS Hunting App is the first and only app on the market that bundles all hunting-relevant functions in one application. More than 150,000 hunters already use the Hunting App regularly to prepare and document their hunt and to communicate with fellow hunters. In addition to the basics – ballistics calculator, hunting diary and hunting weather – the hunting ground manager is a particularly important tool for hunters. It enables them to share their hunting ground maps and other content with fellow hunters. With the “ZEISS Victory RF” rangefinder and the “ZEISS DTI 3/35” thermal imaging camera, ZEISS already offers two “connected products” that communicate with the ZEISS Hunting App.

Together with ZEISS, PESCHKE formed the first idea for the app in 2015, which was launched in the stores as the ZEISS Hunting App at the end of 2016 and was expanded with a browser version » in 2019. To this day, the application is constantly being optimised and further developed with updates. Two themes run like a thread through the entire development process, challenging the project team at Peschkedesign every day: To support the user in the best possible way, for which the focus is placed on what the hunter really needs, and to translate these features into a lean, application-oriented interface and an optimal user experience.

In addition to the conception and development of the app, all ongoing tasks are also managed by PESCHKE. This includes activities from ongoing monitoring and reporting to the processing and analysis of the generated usage and user data (big data) to the entire user communication in the app service and the app stores.
