RGB stands for Red, Green, Blue, which are the primary colours of light used in digital displays. RGB is an additive colour model, which means that by combining these three primary colours in different intensities, a wide range of colours can be produced. In digital graphics, RGB is used to represent colours in electronic displays such as computer monitors, televisions and mobile devices. In this model, each pixel on the screen is composed of three sub-pixels, one for each of the primary colours, with each sub-pixel being able to produce 256 shades or levels of intensity. The RGB colour model is widely used in graphic design, digital imaging and video production, and is supported by many software applications and devices.
