UX/UI Design Job | PESCHKE Design Studio Wien
YOUR TASKS
Among others, you will:
  • Research target groups, create user personas and carry out UX tests
  • Design digital worlds: from ideas, mood boards & concepts to wireframes, hi-fi prototypes and client presentations
  • Develop UX/UI designs for different applications such as websites, apps and various interactive elements
  • Immerse yourself in the technical background of your projects
  • Ensure user experience in terms of accessibility (WCAG guidelines)
  • Discuss designs with your colleagues according to the four-eyes principle
  • Create and maintain design libraries (e.g. in Zeplin or Figma) and support our development partners in high-quality implementation.
WHAT WE NEED
Skills we are looking for:
  • Experience with complex UX/UI design and software development projects
  • A degree in user interface design or relevant UX/UI training
  • Advanced skills in working with Figma and relevant Adobe Creative Suite programmes
  • Sensitivity for the overall appearance and attention to detail as well as interest in trends in the fields of UX & UI, HMI and digital transformation
  • Experience with UX research, UX testing and design systems
  • You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team (UX/UI, 3D, product design & marketing) – you are a communicative team player
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • You work in a structured, responsible, proactive, precise and reliable manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • You reside in Austria, ideally in or close to Vienna

A typical day as a senior UX/UI designer

Your workday starts between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. At the beginning of the week, you plan the tasks for the coming days. As your first task, you and your colleagues research and create user personas for an app design project on the topic of intermodal mobility. You will define imagery and mood boards for the persona workshop with the client. After completion, you switch to another project – a human-machine interface for a client in the field of industrial glass production. You have already presented the first prototypes to the client and have detailed knowledge of the production processes and the technical background, which you have incorporated into the design. After today’s client meeting, you start optimising the visualisation of various production-relevant parameters. In regular feedback rounds, you consult with the clientand the rest of the team.

Important to note: This does not describe an exact work day, but serves to illustrate the different areas of work!

The collective agreement’s monthly minimum base salary, based on a 40-hour workweek, is €2,373.13. However, an overpayment depending on your professional experience is explicitly provided for.
