PESCHKE develops trend-setting products for international clients in the industrial sector. Our focus is on UX and UI design, product design, software development, digital transformation & consulting and marketing strategy & content. For this purpose, we develop intuitive UX/UI designs for complex digital products such as HMIs and apps that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but support users in performing their tasks as easily as possible.
To support our UX/UI design team, we are looking for a talented and motivated UX/UI designer (f/m/d) with extensie experience. The prospective start date is 01/2025, but we are happy to wait for the right candidate.
Our UX/UI projects span diverse areas such as software interfaces for the capital goods industry or app interface designs for applications in production, quality assurance, mobility and nature observation.
If you can identify with the following, are interested in everything new and have experience with complex and comprehensive projects, you’ve come to the right place!
from 01/2025
Vienna, Austria
40h
No all-in contracts ♥
min. 3 years
The most important thing, however, is that you fit in well with our team and enjoy working on great projects with us ♥
Up before the sun or most productive in the evening? Not to worry – our flexible working times and home office days have got you covered. (Don’t worry, we don’t offer all-in contracts ♥)
Classic 9 to 5 or modern part-time lifestyle? You get to decide! Everyone has different wants and needs that we can cover with individual working time models.
Not only the design industry is growing – we want our employees to grow too. We therefore place great value on supporting everyone in our team with opportunities to hone their skills and to learn new ones.
We are a wild mix of great characters, always talk at eye level and work exceptionally well as a team. We look forward to welcoming our newest team member!
Benefits such as free coffee, tea and fruits are a given. On top of that, you will receive an allowance for lunch, which you can also redeem at well-known delivery services if you like. And to make sure you get to the office without being stuck in traffic, we will pay for your annual ticket for the Vienna public transport system after your first year of employment.
Your workday starts between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. At the beginning of the week, you plan the tasks for the coming days. As your first task, you and your colleagues research and create user personas for an app design project on the topic of intermodal mobility. You will define imagery and mood boards for the persona workshop with the client. After completion, you switch to another project – a human-machine interface for a client in the field of industrial glass production. You have already presented the first prototypes to the client and have detailed knowledge of the production processes and the technical background, which you have incorporated into the design. After today’s client meeting, you start optimising the visualisation of various production-relevant parameters. In regular feedback rounds, you consult with the clientand the rest of the team.
Important to note: This does not describe an exact work day, but serves to illustrate the different areas of work!
The collective agreement’s monthly minimum base salary, based on a 40-hour workweek, is €2,373.13. However, an overpayment depending on your professional experience is explicitly provided for. Alright, now you know everything. Are you convinced that you’re a great fit for our company? Perfect! Please send your compelling application, including your CV, portfolio, desired weekly hours, and salary expectations, by email to:

We are excited to receive your application!

Bringing 3D characters to life is no small feat, but with the right technology – and a motivated 3D artist willing to squeeze himself into a tight motion capture suit – we’re making it happen 🌟
For our latest project, we've been working on character animation as part of a product video for a window hardware producer, using the Rokoko SmartSuit Pro II and Smartgloves (@hellorokoko). This advanced motion capture setup allows us to record natural movements and interactions with 3D props. 🎭✨
Our production pipeline takes the captured motion data through retargeting onto the character rig and seamlessly imports it into Unreal Engine 5 for further refinement. The result? A dynamic and lifelike 3D character ready to shine (e.g. by opening windows in our animation 🤓).
Here is a quick insight into character movement and our 3D Artist Florian (@salve.vision) using his Rokoko equipment 🧑🚀

In October, ZEISS pulled out all the stops at the ‘ZEISS QUALITY INNOVATION SUMMIT’, the year’s biggest metrology industry event. ⚙️
We had the exciting challenge of bringing ZEISS MMZ G to life – one of their largest and most impressive bridge-type coordinate measuring machines. Through our 3D product animation, we showcased its features and advantages. ✨

Rigging in 3D refers to the process of creating a digital skeleton, or "rig," for the animation of a 3D model. Rigging allows us to control the movement of various parts of the model as if manipulating puppet strings, enabling it to bend, stretch, and twist naturally, even during complex movements.
Are you curious which steps are needed in the rigging process? Swipe through the slides to find out!

Ever wondered what makes a product truly user-friendly? It all starts with user research! 🕵️♀️ By diving deep into user behaviour, needs and pain points, we create experiences that are meaningful – in addition to ensuring the product meets its functional purpose. From surveys and interviews to usability testing, each method gives us insights that guide better design decisions and build empathy for our users. ✨

Creating a holistic and engaging user experience (UX) involves several key disciplines 👇
• Clear information architecture: ensures users can easily navigate and find what they’re looking for.
• Interaction Design: defines how users engage with the product, focusing on intuitive and smooth interactions.
• Functionality: enables the product to effectively fulfill its intended purpose.
• Usability: makes sure the product is intuitive and easy to use, reducing friction in the user journey.
• Typography: enhances readability and creates a strong visual hierarchy for the content.
• Content Strategy including UX Writing: delivers relevant, clear and engaging information that supports and guides users.
• User Interface (UI) Design: focuses on crafting interaction points that resonate with users and make the experience feel seamless.
• Visual Design: adds aesthetic appeal and reflects the brand identity, ensuring the product is both attractive and aligned with brand values.
Together, these elements form a cohesive, functional product that not only meets user needs but also leaves a positive, lasting impression. When done right, the result is a unified experience that connects emotionally with users while delivering value.

“The components are the trees. The design system is the forest.” – Jeremy Keith
In UX/UI design, it's easy to focus on individual elements—the "trees." 🌲 But without a cohesive design system guiding the way, we lose sight of the bigger picture. A well-crafted design system includes documentation and a component library for developers to ensure harmony, consistency and scalability across your enire product.
It's not just about buttons and icons; it’s about building a visual language that evolves as your product does.

Accessibility matters to everyone. Why? Because disabilities aren't limited to permanent conditions like immobility or blindness. At some point in our lives, each of us will experience limitations – whether they're permanent, temporary, or situational – across the following senses: sight, hearing, touch, and speech.
Designing digital products with accessibility in mind benefits all of us. Curious about how physical limitations might affect you in daily life without even realizing it? Swipe through the slides to find out 👉
