OLED displays (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) are screens in which each pixel emits its own light, eliminating the need for backlighting. This allows for exceptionally high contrast, deep blacks, vibrant colors, and very thin designs. OLEDs also offer wide viewing angles and fast response times, making them ideal for high-quality displays in smartphones, TVs, and wearables. Another advantage is their low power consumption when displaying dark content. However, they can be more susceptible to burn-in over time. OLED technology represents a new generation of flexible, energy-efficient display solutions.
