A typical day as a UX/UI designer

Your workday starts between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. At the beginning of the week, you plan the tasks for the coming days. As your first task, you and your colleagues research and create user personas for an app design project on the topic of intermodal mobility. You define imagery and mood boards for the persona workshop with the client. After completion, you switch to another project – a human-machine interface for a client in the field of industrial glass production. You have already presented the client with the first prototypes and have detailed knowledge of the production processes and the technical background, which you incorporated into the design. After today’s client meeting, you start optimising the visualisation of various production-relevant parameters. In regular feedback rounds, you consult with the client, software developers and the rest of the team.

Important to note: This does not describe an exact work day, but serves to illustrate the different areas of work!
